This eBook was a lengthy project I worked on with the intention of creating a compact guidebook focused on typography.
Its target audience is novice graphic designers seeking to gain a head start in this craft by learning about common mistakes, tips, tricks, guidelines, and much more.
Card system
Make it more fun
When I began working on this project, I reflected on all the UX/UI principles I had learned. This led me to consider whether there might be a better way to implement learning.
That's where the cards come into play, I created a card system where every topic, big or small could be fitted into a card of some sort.
Card inspiration
Pokémon playing cards
I drew my inspiration from beloved playing cards like Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards. These cards typically feature a central illustration, alongside essential text, which often includes the card's name and a description of its abilities. I tried to replicate that with these learning cards.
Book layout
Grid is everywhere
The grid layout I created consisted of four columns and five rows, perfectly tailored to accommodate the content within the confines of an A4 page size.

Although the eBook I'm working on exists solely in digital format, I felt compelled to create captivating mockups that would bring this book to life.
